Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) is excited to announce that it is conducting a Virtual Industry Day on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. The theme for PEO IWS Virtual Industry Day is Expanding Industry Entry into PEO IWS. A robust all-day schedule is planned for attendees that features the strategic view, program initiatives, small business opportunities, and other topics relevant to the direction and partnership opportunities with PEO IWS. Rear Admiral Seiko Okano, Program Executive Officer for IWS, shall open the day’s programming shortly after 10:00 a.m. EDT. A letter from the Admiral inviting Industry partners to attend, a complete agenda, and a graphic containing PEO IWS’ current priorities is attached to this announcement.

Providing Sea Power to the Hands of Our Sailors, PEO IWS is one of the largest of the Navy’s program executive offices, boasting an annual budget of nearly $8 billion, or roughly eight percent (8%) of the Navy’s entire allocation.

One-on-one engagement opportunities between interested parties and PEO IWS senior leadership will take place on Thursday, April 8, 2021. The 2021 PEO IWS Virtual Industry Day is facilitated in partnership with NavalX and will be hosted via Zoom for Government. Vendors desiring to participate in virtual one-on-one sessions with PEO IWS on Thursday, April 8, 2021 shall indicate this desire during the industry day registration process. Requests for consideration to participate in a one-on-one session must be received not later than Wednesday, March 24, 2021. In support of the virtual one-on-one meetings, during registration vendors are encouraged to submit either a brief PowerPoint presentation or list of questions/discussion topics to PEO IWS. 

Virtual one-on-one sessions on Thursday, April 8, 2021 shall begin at 9:00 a.m. EDT. The Government reserves the right to deny vendor one-on-one requests. While not guaranteed, the Government will attempt to accommodate vendor requests for different time slots. Virtual one-on-one invitations shall be sent to participants once a time slot is assigned following the close of registration, and not later than 24 hours prior to the start of industry day on April 7.

Industry partners wishing to provide information on current Independent Research & Development projects/efforts relating to the PEO IWS mission may provide a summary, not to exceed two pages, containing the following information:

  • Effort/Project Title
  • Overview/Abstract/Summary (intended to provide a brief description of key attributes of the project)
  • Keywords associated to PEO IWS workload (such as: missiles, launchers, combat system, radar, electronic warfare, undersea warfare, sonar, communication, navigation, guns, fire control, Electro Optics InfraRed (EO/IR), sensor fusion, sensor netting, track management, command and control, training, testing, maintenance, system engineering….)
  • Points of Contacts (POC) for follow up engagement
