The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) is conducting market research to support the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) in current and future offensive and defensive operations for the Terrestrial Collections (TC) Program. The Ground-Based Operational Surveillance System (G-BOSS) Family of Systems (FoS) represents one of three Programs of Record (PORs) that make up the TC Programs. The next generation of the G-BOSS will be identified throughout this document as the Terrestrial-Based Operational Surveillance System, (T-BOSS). This Request for Information (RFI) seeks information in specific areas to address Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) factors, unclassified and classified network connectivity, signature management (e.g. electromagnetic and infrared emissions), and beyond line-of-sight (BLOS) data dissemination. This RFI also seeks information on improved processing power to support future artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) algorithms that may employ Computer Vision, Human Language Technologies, Planning & Scheduling and Decision Support & Predictive Analysis, all for the T-BOSS. The Marine Corps also seeks a discussion on the feasibility of standardizing TC equipment by utilizing a common software architecture and software interfaces. This will provide the system interconnectivity necessary for reporting, analysis, communications, mapping, still and video image processing, Common Operational Picture (COP) development, and Common Intelligence Picture (CIP) development in the appropriate security domains. All equipment is intended to be lightweight, modular, easily deployable, and capable of facilitating task organization of equipment for assigned missions.
