Will they give John Deutch a laptop?

The Department of Defense (DoD) announced today the appointment of 39 new Defense Science Board members. According to the Pentagon, these men (34) and women (5) are leaders in their fields of science, technology, industry and fields that relate directly to the Department and military services. They join the previously announced DSB Chairman, Paul G. Kaminski and Vice Chairman, Retired Air Force Gen. Lester L. Lyles, and 12 DSB senior fellows.  The Defense Science Board, a federal advisory board, provides the secretary, deputy secretary and under secretary for acquisition, technology and logistics with independent, informed advice and opinion on scientific, technical, manufacturing, acquisition process, and other matters of special interest to the DoD.

A quick review of the list shows many familiar names, including former Deputy Secretary of Defense, Director of Central Intelligence Dr. John Deutch.  When we last heard from Dr. Deutch he was in hot water for taking home classified information on a laptop computer.  He was pardoned by President Clinton on his last day in office.  Here's guessing that he's more careful this time.
