 RUMINT: Vice Admiral Papp to be next USCG Commandant

Defense Systems Journal is hearing that Vice Admiral Robert J. Papp Jr. has gotten the nod to follow Admiral Thad Allen as the next Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard.  Vice Admiral Papp, a 1975 graduate of the Coast Guard Academy and Commander of the Coast Guard Atlantic Area (LANTAREA) since July 2008, would be the 24th USCG Commandant.
